Lucy’s Cookies {Gluten Free} Review & Giveaway

Can I tell you how so super excited I am about this giveaway? Ok, first of all is my first giveaway {applause}. Second, is of one of my favorite things in the world: cookies {applause}.  And third, these cookies serve are not only delicious but serve a very good cause {applause}.

If you have read about this blogger, you might know that I eat pretty much anything; but I like my foods real and I pay very close attention to the ingredients on the labels of packaged foods.  With all the yucky stuff being stuck in our foods these days it is a breeze of fresh air to find companies who still strive to provide quality products with quality ingredients.

Lucy’s cookies are not only made with natural ingredients but they are also made with allergic people in mind. Thankfully I do not have any food allergies/intolerance, but know plenty of people who do and know how hard it can be sometimes having to limit the palate.  But with these cookies their sacrifices can be put to bed because they are really delicious and harmless.  Lucy’s cookies are:

  • Gluten Free
  • Vegan
  • No Peanuts, No Tree Nuts
  • Dedicated Bakery
  • Ingredients Tested
  • Og Trans Fat
  • Omg Cholesterol
  • Non-GMO
  • All Natural

I had previously bought the chocolate chip ones at Whole Foods Market and loved them, so I could not wait to share with my readers this new find.  Luckily, the peeps at Lucy were kind enough to sponsor a giveaway and even sent me some new flavors to try.  In the box were Ginger Snap, Maple Bliss and Chocolate Cookie.

Let me just start by telling you that these cookies are crunchy, crunchy, crunchy which is exactly how I like my cookies.  Have never been crazy about chewy cookies and so the consistency of these babies was an instant winner.  You can also try dunking them on milk or tea for a softer but still crunchy interesting twist, plus you know what they say about dunking: it brings out more flavors.

Not that these need anymore flavor.  The Maple Bliss were very interesting and not what I was expecting, they are very “nutty” in taste so I was surprised with the peanut-like flavor.  The Chocolate Cookie were just perfect, not too strong, not too subtle and very close to pure chocolate taste, did not feel “fake” at all.   The Ginger Snaps are my new favorite! they are amazing, the ginger taste is not too overpowering and neither is the little chiplote kick, yum! very interesting combination of flavors done right.  And yes, they are totally kid approved.

Ok.  Are you drooling yet? Well, clean up the keyboard and enter now to win 3 boxes of Lucy’s cookies, one in each of the flavors.

  1. I love gingersnaps so I think that’s the flavor I would like the best. And yes, they have to be crunchy to be a real gingersnap!
